Stormy Night

Abstracts on a Stormy Night

A torrential rainstorm persuaded me to pull off the freeway rather than to risk a dangerous drive through open country. Fortunately it was close to a familiar intersection. A parking lot with a view of a busy intersection (Beloit and Moorland in New Berlin) provided a safe place to wait it out. One of my older but still very nice cameras usually stays in my truck so I can use it when I see something interesting. As I watched the traffic go through the intersection , it occurred to me that photographing the action through sheets of rain might make for some interesting photos. Why not — didn't have anything else to do. Glad I did.
